Cedar and redwood pergolas — classic, warm, hand-built. Higher maintenance than aluminum but with a character no manufactured product can match.
A wood pergola fits some homes — craftsman bungalows, log-cabin moderns, ranch-style backyards — better than any aluminum system can. We build them in cedar (most common) or redwood (premium) using traditional joinery and contemporary structural connections.
Trade-off: wood pergolas need re-staining every 3-5 years to look their best. We offer maintenance plans, or you can DIY it.
Most common. Naturally rot-resistant, ages to silver-gray if not stained, takes stain beautifully.
Standard
Premium. Deeper color, slightly more stable. ~30% more than cedar.
Premium
Budget option. Rot-resistant but never quite the same look as cedar/redwood.
