Provo-Specific

WHAT MAKES BUILDING IN PROVO DIFFERENT.

  • 01
    4,500 ft elevation
More freeze-thaw cycles than SLC valley floor. Engineered footings below frost line (36").
  • 02
    Provo Bench wind exposure
Edgemont and Sherwood Hills get strong canyon winds. Heavier framing and reinforced anchors.
  • 03
    Utah Lake humidity
Higher humidity affects fabric awning lifespan slightly. We compensate with UV-rated materials.
  • 04
    Provo City permits
Standard residential pergola/cover permits. We handle the paperwork.
